San Basilio de Palenque, Colombia - March 25, 2017: Monument in memory of Benkos Bioho, he was the founder of Palenque. It is the first place in America where free Africans were living as it was in 1691 Spanish Crown issued a Royal Decree, guaranteeing freedom to the Palenque de San Basilio Africans.
